Kimchi buchimgae

김치부침개, Kimchi buchimgae

김치 부침개 Gimchi buchimgae (Gimchi pancake)
This Korean cuisine is Korean style pancake made of Kimchi.
Flour and Kimchi are main ingredients of it.
Sometimes we add chopped onion, or other vegitables.
I saw someone adding sugar, but I would never do that.

Excellent for late afternoon's snack on a weekend day. :)

I found your blog looking for gyeranmari recipes. Excellent food-blogging! After reading it, I'm feeling hungry!

You should include recipes when you can, for those of use that don't have any other way to eat Korean food.

I live in the USA, in rural Oregon, so most Korean restaurants are many miles away in the city, we do have two small Korean lunch restaurants though in the local college town.

Nice to meet you Nick. Thank you for reading.

To be honest, I am not very good at cooking and I don't have many recipes of Korean food. But I guess I can translate some of the Korean recipes to English ones. I will try to include recipes next time.

It is exciting to meet someone who is interested in Korean food. :)

May be the person who added sugar is an Indian or Singaporean. We have a dish called Roti Prata made of plain flour, or flour and egg. The more modern versions will include cheese and/or sausage. This is eaten with gravy or some people add sugar. I like it with sugar and gravy ㅎㅎ
