Tteokbokki in previous post is from Sindangdong, Seoul, where famous tteokbokki town located. It is not far from center of Seoul. Between lots of restaurants, I chose the most famous one - Grandma Ma Bokrim's tteokbokki.
Well... I tried this restaurant once before with my friends, but we both got the same idea - not that much tasty or delicious as we expected, though there were so many people waiting for their turn. So far as I remember, the best 떡볶이 were served near the place I'm living, not so far away from the Myoungseong Girls' Highschool. I still remember when I jumped out of the school with some friends right in the middle of the class and escaped from all the stuff with math and english, hehe~ Btw, I'm really happy to see some wonderful blogs from Korean in blogger. Korean blogging in English are not easily seen...
A number of others have the same idea on the restaurant. (check my Korean blog for that: http://hanti.pe.kr/dansim/2006/19/) Maybe the best tteokbokki is what they had in their teens. Almost everybody misses tteokbokki in one's memory of young days.
An English blog by Korean is not easily seen, and it is also not easy for me to blog in English. Haha.
